Additional speakers for the system can be purchased separately. It is a two way system with a five inch subwoofer and a two inch dome tweeter. It uses the 900 MHz technology and can be battery or A/C powered. It is available for $99 dollars, though the list price for this product is $129.99.

The AW-871 Wireless Stereo Speakers are another option. They have similar features to the AW-877 system: they use the 900MHz technology, have a two way construction, and an identical frequency response. Unfortunately, the user reviews for those speakers are not that great, so sticking to the Aw-877 model might be a better choice.

If Acoustic Research wireless speakers are what you are after, the WHT6024 seems to be the best choice. The problem is that it’s a 5.1 system, so if you just need regular stereo speakers, consider buying either two AW-822 speakers or the Aw-877 set. For the low price any of these speaker models seems to be a descent choice.
