Wireless TV Speakers

Nowadays, not everybody has a desktop computer at home, but almost everyone can call himself a proud laptop owner. While laptops certainly are great and their features and processing power is no longer behind desktops, one thing they do lack is high quality sound. Fortunately, this problem can now be easily solved thanks to wireless laptop speakers.

There are plenty of wireless speaker systems on the market that can be used as wireless laptop speakers. There are only a few models, however, that were primarly designed for laptops. One of them is the Acoustic Research AW880 Wireless Computer Stereo Speaker System. The producer claims that these speakers deliver crisp audio with amazing clarity. Their design is modern and impressive and while they can be used with any type of device, there is something about the way they look that tells you that they would work best with a laptop computer. The audio output is 10 Watt RMS per speaker, which gives us a 20 Watt total. The speakers can be placed up to 150 feet away from the trasmitter and can work in either stereo or mono mode. Each speaker houses a 1 1/2″ tweeter and a 3″ woofer. The set comes with three AC adapters. This speaker system can be purchased at a descent price of $129.95.

The Royal WES600 900 Mhz Wireless Computer Stereo Speaker System is another speaker set designed specifically for use with laptops and desktop computers. The speakers are pretty small and light which makes them great for laptops. Their operating distance is 164 feet, which is a nice feature. Another nice thing about this set of wireless laptop speakers is their price – you can get them for $79.95.

We’ve saved the best for last. Creative Labs is one of the companies that has been associated with quality but affordable computer audio for years. Unfortunately, they’ve never offered wireless speakers. Now this is about to change. The GigaWorks T20W Series II Wireless Multimedia Speaker System with BasXPort Technology is soon to be released and it is definitely going to be a hit. The speakers feature 28 Watt RMS output power and have operating range of up to 100 feet away from the transmitter. Keep in mind, that before you decide to use them with a laptop you will need to install the Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook ExpressCard 34. So, if you plan on buying a set of wireless laptop speakers, you might want to wait a bit and check out the new Gigaworks T20W once they are released.
